Mechanical Engineer (EX Forces)

Location:
Guildford (Field based)

Hours: 8am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday

We are currently working with a highly reputable materials handling equipment supplier, who are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their organisation, due to continued growth and demand.

This is a permanent position based in Kent where you will be field based.


Responsibilities:


The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of forklift trucks and other material handling equipment on site.

The Engineer will also carry out general servicing to the Forklift equipment.

Experience/ Skills Required

Previous engineering experience with materials handling equipment and forklift trucks / Heavy Plant is essential.
Knowledge of hydraulic pneumatic and control systems
Excellent customer service skills
Full UK Driving License
