The WonderBar is the ultimate Newcastle venue situated in the heart of the City Centre in the premier leisure destination - The Gate.

With food and drink, interactive darts, dancing, and live sports, all under one roof, The WonderBar have lots to offer and events are a big part of the social calendar.

We are looking to recruit some Bar Staff to join our fantastic front of house team working a variety of shifts including weekends.

The successful applicant will have proven experience in providing excellent levels of customer service and a strong background of bar and catering operations.

• Provide a warm welcome to guests, building rapport and generally taking care of their needs to create a memorable experience.
• Experience in Cocktail making is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
• Meet and exceed the already high standards of customer care when serving functions and events.
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of the menu and confidently converse with customers.
• Ability to deal with customer issues calmly and in a professional timely manner.
• Support with other duties such as cash handling when required.
• Provide excellent customer service skills whilst paying attention to detail.
• Punctuality is essential.
• Be flexible for day and night shifts.
