Panoramic Associates is currently working with a Local Authority client based in London to facilitate the appointment of a Development Manager on an interim basis for an initial 6-month Contract.

Within the role, you will be focusing on commercial, mix use and leisure projects within the council's regeneration scheme but may also be required to assist with other projects when needed.

Responsibilities of the Role:

Ensure schemes are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards and where relevant, all Homes England contractual obligations are fully met.
Manage £multimillion budgets. Ensure all project costs are kept under strict control and recorded properly with all transactions checked and confirmed.
To prepare and provide regular progress reports for the Project Board and other stakeholders.
To build and maintain strong partnerships with all relevant stakeholders.
To identify, manage and report on all risks associated with relevant development projects.

To be successful in the role you will have:

Extensive experience assisting and delivering town centre regeneration or Estate schemes within a Local Authority setting.
Experience in delivering commercial and leisure projects is advantageous.
Experience delivering affordable housing or mixuse projects.
A proven track record of reporting to boards and maintaining stakeholder relationships is essential.
Experience delivering projects from RIBA stages 07.

Next Steps:

The role is an initial 6-month contract (with likely extension) and offering between £400-£450 a day (Inside IR35). The role will require 2 days in the office/on-site with the remaining days remote.
