Job overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join the Launceston and Tamar Valley Community Nursing Team.
The primary focus of this role is to administratively support the community nursing team with management of the electronic referral process and other supportive duties.
Areas within the role include inputting to electronic patient records, maintaining the stock ordering process of both routine and patient specific clinical supplies and accurate message relaying.
Other tasks include inputting to databases, completion of personnel documentation as directed, placing vacancies onto organisation's electronic vacancy system (TRAC) and maintaining staff files as well as some front of house duties including telephone calls with patients, relatives and clinical staff.
The administrator manages room bookings, visiting contractors, reports repairs and manages housekeeping and recycling for the team.

Main duties of the job:
- The purpose of the post is:
- To support the Community Nursing Team and other clinical teams within North and East Cornwall as required with all aspects of administrative duties. To act as the first point of contact for communications between patients, visitors and health professionals (both internal / external).

- To provide administrative functions within a Community Nursing team.
