Field Service Engineer

East Midlands

Salary:
£28,000 to £32,000

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 40 hours per week

I am currently working with a family run business who have been established over 20 years and due to great year on year growth are looking to recruit an experienced Service Engineer to the team.

They are successful industry leaders, who are very innovativeand are looking to get into more markets as they continue to grow.

Duties of a Field Service Engineer

In this role you will reporting to the Service Controller, you will be responsible for the following:

Basic troubleshooting, Installation, Maintenance & Repair on designated equipment.
Complete preventative maintenance & field modifications
Managing repair parts
Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs & internal service records in a timely manner.
Maintaining tools & test equipment ensuring that equipment is properly calibrated

Skills and experience of a Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, you need have experience with;

Previous experience of working with technical equipment
Experienced working with the public & part of a team

It would be beneficial to the role if you also had;

Full UK drivers licence
Ability to work independently within a technical environment when needed
Excellent problem solving & critical analysis skills with attention to detail
