Description
Responsibilities- Carry out skilled DIY & general maintenance both internal and external
- Basic carpentry such as new locks, boxing in, assembling furniture, easing and adjusting windows and similar hardware.
- Plumbing washers, taps, unblocking toilets and drains
- Replacement of tiles for walls and floors
- Painting and decorating
- Regular checks and assessments of both private and public areas, liaising with the staff and house keeping
- Performing jobs as when they are required
- Installations, inspections, diagnosing faults, testing, replacement, repair and maintenance of building, fixtures and fittings
- Identifying defects, hazards and the need for adjustment and repair
- Ensure compliance with agreed codes, law, working practices and health and safety
- Maintain accurate records and documentation associated with your role
- Safety of residents and the ensuring checks are carried out
- Carry out task with time management
- Good attention to detail
- Purchasing and sourcing equipment
- Liaising with suppliers
- Need to be available for emergency call out
