Description

We are currently working with a leading PLC organisation based just outside of Leicester to recruit a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their group function on a 12-month contract.

They are offering hybrid working with only one day a week in the office and there is a strong potential to gain a permanent role.

They are seeking a technically strong Accountant to join their team, possibly from an audit or practice background, but also fromthe industry too.

This position will allow you to take full ownership of the financial reporting process and controls for the business. You will play a key role in providing senior leadership with timely and accurate information.
The Role

Your duties as Financial Reporting Manager will include:

Consolidation of the Group accounts (10 subsidiaries)
Corporation Tax
R&D Claims
Ensure all Statutory Accounts are produced in a timely manner
Act as the point of call for all tax queries
Yearend audit

What they are looking for

ACA/ACCA Qualified
IFRS Knowledge desirable
Group Consolidation experience
This role is best suited to someone with previous experience managing Financial Accountants or holding a wealth of Financial Accounting experience
