Premier Work Support are collaborating with a rapidly expanding business, who design and manufacture specialist equipment.

This is to recruit for a permanent
Production Team Leader to lead and manage a team within the business, to be based in the Bexley area.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements
  • Ensure full adherence to good housekeeping standards are always met
  • Ensure equipment is within calibration date and all systems are functioning correctly
  • Ensure all records are completed appropriately
  • Ensure that nonconforming material is clearly identified and segregated
  • Manage picking to your area
  • Monitor and maintain all safety equipment and tools
  • Identify training and development needs to management
  • Be part of the corrective action process when your area is affected
  • Monitor team performance and report to your manager/direct report
  • Set clear team goals and KPI's.

You will need:


  • At least 3 years' experience in leading a production team
  • Experience of assisting and developing (multiskilled) people
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
  • Knowledge of environmental ISO1400
  • Knowledge of Quality standard ISO9001.
This role is Monday to Friday with the working hours of 7am - 4pm.
