This is a net-new position within a small Payroll Team, who are going through an exciting transition as a business.

The Payroll Senior will be responsible for a select volume of the businesses payroll, as they have recently gone through an acquisition.

Description

Senior Payroll Officer

  • Responsible for the start to finish processing of a new entity for the business due to go live in January 202
  • Volume: Looking after circa 1000 staff across the UK mixture of hourly and salaried staff
  • Due to the acquisition (in the interim), there may be an aspect of transferring data/manual migration that would need to be carried out
  • Liaising directly with the operational team up North to ensure that the migration is successful but also for on boarding/initial system training
  • Provide Support to the wider Payroll Team including the Payroll Manager
  • Other Ad Hoc Payroll duties when required

Profile

Senior Payroll Officer, Twyford

  • Previous responsibility of Payroll (sole) is highly advantageous
  • Happy to work within a team
  • Carry the ability to provide support to junior members of the team
  • Adaptable happy to carry out a very short term data migration as well as other ad hoc payroll duties
  • Open to very ad hoc travel to the North in the initial part of the role for handover
