Fantastic charity looking for a website editor to refine existing content, develop a new plan & ensure web optimisation

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a poverty charity helping people in dire situations to understand and access the money available to them through welfare benefits, grants and other sources.

They seek to support the most vulnerable members of society including the elderly and the disabled.

THE ROLE:

In the role of Website Editor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of content development, refinement and management for a newly revamped website.

This will include consistency in tone of voice, style and key terminology.

You will be responsible for developing a content plan, user journeys and SEO as well as putting together a 'writing for the web' style guide.

Part of the role will also entail training up internal stakeholders on how to develop content.

Key reponsiblity for all content being published on the website will also be an important part of the day to day role.

You will also work closely with the digital team comprising product and project managers, developers and UX designers.

YOU:
In order to be successfully considered for the role of Website Editor, you will need:

to hands on experience of managing website content including developing, auditing, publishing and optimising

- to be a strong writer of long and short form copy as well as being used to editing
- in depth knowledge of content design and UX
- previous experience/responsibility for developing user journeys
- excellent hands on knowledge of SEO and web optimisation
- strong analytical and reporting skills
