The Role From the get-go you will be heavily involved in influencing and driving the marketing of several clients across a variety of different industries.

The role requires you to be proactive and forward thinking, any good idea brought to the table will be tried and tested, offering you a very real opportunity to make positive changes.

You'll work closely with your Line Manager to accelerate your learning and understanding of Google Ads, SEO, paid and organic social.

SEO

• Be aware and uptodate of current search engine ranking factors
• Using tools to identify and understand onpage SEO improvements
• Identifying backlink opportunities
• Generating keyword reports
• Tracking search term performance
• Content creation such as FAQs and blog articles
• Backlink analysis & disavows
• Keyword trend analysis
• Search Console analysis
• Become Google Analytics certified
• Have a thorough understanding of SEMrush & utilise their academy courses

Social media

• Drive the internal and external social media offering
• Provide timely and clear briefs to the designer
• Monitoring and reporting on audience growth

Google Ads

• Keyword research and presentations
• Landing page content research
• Adding negative keywords & general account maintenance
• Merchant centre upkeep & maintenance
• Competitor price research and consolidation
• Campaign set up and development
• Weekly report on KPI performance

Websites

• Supporting website developers through testing procedures
• Monthly web health checks following checklist provided
• Adding content ensuring SEO best practices are met

General

• Have good written and verbal communication skills
• Have a thorough knowledge of client websites including products, services and target audience
• Proactively provide support to colleagues
• Managing calendar for Senior Management
• Daily adhoc tasks as business needs arise

Skills

• Understanding of Digital Marketing and best practices
• Experience of social platforms: Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
• Experience with Digital Asset Management systems

Skills and experience in creative writing

• Creative and organised, able to plan and juggle projects simultaneously.
• Able to emphasise with customers and deal with issues and queries in a friendly, professional manner.
• Selfmotivated individual with initiative

Team player and good communication skills
