Job Summary
You will be an integral part in the function of the Engineering Maintenance Team.

Assisting the Management team in ensuring that the Boards assets are maintained and repaired effectively, efficiently and to the appropriate standards of safety.


You will assist the Electrical Technicians in carrying out all aspects of improvement, maintenance and repair works to the Boards assets within the teams particular area of expertise.

This will require a degree of technical knowledge over a wide range of engineering plant, equipment, and installations.

To be able to carry out this work to a very high standard, working on ones own initiative and with minimum supervision is essential.

To service, test, diagnose, repair, and calibrate electrical and electronic installations, plant, and equipment.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Have a basic understanding of electrical principles and working practices
  • Previous experience working on industrial electrical systems and components, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Ability to understand and follow safe systems of work
  • Good standard of IT literacy
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence
  • You will also be exposed at times to unpleasant working conditions, which will include working outside in all weathers
