We are looking for someone who is a team player and has a can do attitude to join our Integration Team.


This is a new post in the department and provides a great opportunity for someone to put their stamp on the role by providing a high standard of administrative and secretarial support to the Assistant Chief Executive, Business Manager, and our wider Integration team.


Whilst you will be employed by NUH and an integral member of the Integration team it is important to note that a lot of our work is outward facing and requires close liaison with colleagues within the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System (ICS).


You will be expected to act as an ambassador for the directorate and organisation, complying with the Trust's values and behaviours at all times.

You will work well autonomously and be responsible for implementing administrative processes to support the effective running of the Integration team.

Main duties of the job

  • To present a professional, welcoming and helpful image to staff, other organisations and the public.
  • To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Director of Integration and other members of the wider Integration team as appropriate.
  • To manage the diaries of the Director of Integration and other members of the team by coordinating and prioritising appointments taking the initiative where appropriate to rearrange meetings to ensure best use of time and raising instances where priorities conflict.
  • To ensure that all paperwork (electronically and in paper form) are efficiently and effectively dealt with and is available when required.
  • To maintain an awareness of ongoing issues in order to be able to tie up correspondence appropriately, chasing up actions prior to the meeting taking.

The post holder will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the directorate. The Integration team is a part of the Trust's Strategy directorate.


The wider directorate includes:

  • Strategy Team
  • Commercial Team
  • Transformation Team
  • Major Projects; including:
  • Tomorrow's NUH
  • National Rehabilitation Centre
  • Maternity and Neonatal Redesign Programm


The post holder will have a base at Trust Headquarters, however the team work flexibly and will require working from all Trust locations, home and across partners within the ICS.

The ability to be able to work flexibly and travel across all sites as required is a role requirement.

You will be expected to act as an ambassador for the directorate and organisation, complying with the Trust's values and behaviours at all times.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure all communication is dealt with in a timely, efficient manner and deadlines are met, taking action, where appropriate, in the absence of the Director of Integration.
  • To type correspondence, reports and other documents to a high standard and with due respect for confidentiality and corporate
