Reqiva are partnered with a UK market leading company within the Cambridge area that are looking for a experienced Embedded Software Lead to join the Med tech team.

As the Embedded Software Lead you will be working on some life changing medical devices playing a central role in the development for breakthrough technology which will impact on conditions such as epilepsy, sleep apnoea, Parkinson's and much more.

It is a really exciting time to join the growing team.

What will your role be?

You will leading projects and ensure regulatory compliance through the embedded software development phase and have the freedom to decide what methodology is used for each embedded software development project.

Whether you choose Agile, Waterfall, or an alternative approach. You'll also get to manage the content, budget, schedule, deliverables, and resourcing for projects.

***- A proven track record of planning and leading software projects to ensure the outcomes meet stakeholder expectations and are delivered on time and within budget

Prior experience in writing and documenting code bases in a regulated environment (e.g. medical, aerospace, automotive)
Experience in writing embedded software and attention to detail
A 1st Class or 2.1 Degree (or equivalent) in Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
Great communication skills
