Description

HGV/PSV Collection and Delivery Driver required in Herefordshire.

Starting salary up to £14 per hour pending experience.
40 hour week with an 8 hour day between the hours of 7:00am5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Our client, a franchise approved commercial vehicle dealership situated in the Herefordshire region, are currently looking to recruit a HGV/PSV Collection and Delivery Driver to join their business.

Report to the Centre Manager and working as part of a team, in this HGV Collection/Delivery Driver role, you will be primarily responsible for assisting in transporting HGV/PSV vehicles between our client's workshop facilities and an off-site MOT station.

You will also assist in general workshop/grounds maintenance of our client's facilities and help their Vehicle Technicians in non-mechanical preparation of vehicles to return back to customers (for example changing lightbulbs and windscreen wipers or refilling windscreen wash).

In order to be eligible for this HGV Collection/Delivery Driver role, you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Herefordshire as well as having a HGV/PSV driving licence with mínimal points.

Experience in a similar collection/delivery role, experience working with HGV/PSV vehicles or any mechanical knowledge of vehicles would be highly advantageous to our client however isn't essential as training is provided.

Overall, for this HGV Collection/Delivery Driver role, you will be logístically minded, be a team player, organised and a good planner with a thorough understanding of the Herefordshire region.
