This is your chance to join our close-knit and busy Reward team to assist with increasing workloads and provide crucial administrative support to some exciting Employee Wellbeing projects.

This is a part-time role for 22 hours per week.

We can offer some flexibility on the working pattern but would require Monday and Friday to be a working day.


As an experienced Payroll Administrator, you're familiar with payroll processes such as adding new starters, calculating leavers, overtime reconciliation and changing allowances.

This will help you to hit the ground running. You'll be a point of contact to offer payroll advice and support to colleagues when they contact us. We're a friendly, supportive team that work together to deliver deadlines and achieve our goals. You're an excellent team player, self-motivated and consistent in your approach.

You'll help to co-ordinate, plan and administer Employee Wellbeing activities and initiatives that make a positive difference to our colleagues.

What will you mainly be responsible for delivering?

  • First line payroll support to managers and colleagues
  • Inputting and checking of payroll information onto our HR/Payroll software, currently MHR iTrent, for our employee payroll and pensioner payrolls.
  • Provide administration support for Reward Team, including the arranging of/minute taking at team meetings and coordinating one off and regular events, such as Reward drop in sessions, third party webinars, long service recognition events and retirement courses
  • Provide administration support for Wellbeing related work and projects, including minute taking at Wellbeing Champions Meetings, arranging training and coordinating one off and regular events, such as lunch and learn sessions and webinars.
  • Update the intranet for reward and wellbeing information and activities
  • Maintain and update personal files with reward information.
  • Code invoices for payment and ensure signature and timely return to finance department.
  • Carry out user acceptance testing for Payroll system upgrades and provide suggestions on how to improve the use of the system to reduce administration.
  • Continuous improvement of Payroll systems and practices, developing templates to help support managers
  • Administration of benefits
  • Development and maintenance of existing policies
  • Production of monthly reward and wellbeing reports.
