Description

Distinct is recruiting an interim Financial Accountant to work for a Northwest Leicestershire Manufacturing business. This PLC has operated within its sector for over 100 years and has various divisions.

The contract will run for 3 to 4 months and the business offers hybrid work - 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

You will have the opportunity to join a collaborative business with a positive culture. You will support with year-end, liaise with their auditors, and prepare statutory accounts and consolidated accounts. You may also be involved with ad hoc projects. Thisposition will get exposure to the business operationally.

Ideally, you will be a Qualified Accountant with a strong technical finance background. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to present information to stakeholders. Experience in month-end close and consolidation isessential.
