Description

Due to increasing demand for our products, FabSpeed (part of the Michelmersh Brick Holdings group) are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our team at our Shepshed (Leicestershire) plant as General Operatives.


We are looking for general operatives to train in multiple departments across the facility to include brick cutting, brick bonding and concrete casting.

An awareness of health and safety must be demonstrated in the workplace at all times.

Job specification_

  • Work accurately from detailed plans and specifications to meet orders
  • Carry out measurement checks on products
  • Fill out and complete work order completion forms
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Abide by Company Health & Safety policies and procedures

Previous experience & Qualifications_

  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment would be an advantage to the successful applicant, but not essential

Personal Specifications_

  • A flexible approach to work, demonstrating willingness to work in various departments as projects require
  • Well organised in order to meet customer requirements and deadlines
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

What we offer_
- £13 per hour

  • Working hours Mon
  • Thurs: 7am 4.30pm, Fri: 7am 11:15am
  • Overtime available paid at enhanced rates
  • 20 days holiday plus 8 statutory days per year
  • Regular opportunities to develop and learn new skills via employer funded training
