Robertson Bell are pleased to be supporting a multi-faceted not for profit organisation, based in Bath, to recruit an interim Head of Finance on a 12-month contract.

This role will oversee a small, yet experienced, team and the organisations day to day finances while also providing support to senior stakeholders across wider corporate services and operational teams.

The post-holder will be required in the office twodays per week.

The Head of Finance's specific responsibilities will include:

Seeing through the year end process, following the Head of Finance's departure, acting as the main point of contact for auditors, responding to queries and making adjustments.
Overseeing the timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring supporting commentaries and analysis are informative, and easily interpreted by nonfinance stakeholders.
Ensuing budgets are effectively managed, business partnering with stakeholders on a monthly basis to monitor spend and update forecasts.
Managing finance transactions, including two members of staff, monitoring cash flow and ensuring tax obligations are met.
Experience working in a similar role, ideally within the not for profit sector, with oversight of all areas of finance.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders of all levels.
Previous line management experience.
Intermediate Excel skill and a keen eye for detail.
