The Placement


This 12-Month industrial placement will give a student the opportunity to perform high quality peptide chemistry for our clients to agreed timelines.

They will carry out development projects, contract manufacture projects and gram scale synthesis.

Working as part of a project team the placement student will plan carefully, carry out their work safely and document and communicate their methods and results accurately.

Essential Criteria

  • 5 GCSE (or equivalent) passes, grades A-C, in Mathematics and English Language
  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
  • Currently studying a Chemistry degree with successful completion of 2 years by the end of this academic year

Desirable Criteria
(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exists)

  • 3 A Levels at grade A-C or equivalent
  • An overall result of 60% from your previous academic year.
  • Completion of a peptide chemistry module as part of an undergraduate degree
  • Previous laboratory experience within industry or educational institution.
