Description

The successful applicant will work in the Wilson group in the Department of Pharmacology, Cambridge University and will develop and test novel RNA based therapeutics in vitro and in vivo.

They will combine histological, fluorescent and single cell resolution transcriptional analysis with cardiac function analysis to determine the spatio-temporal effects of regenerative gene expression.

Responsibilities will include managing research activities, generating high quality data and developing scientific techniques.

You will be expected to take a lead in your area of the research and contribute intellectually to the direction of the research project.

You will be expected to present your data locally at lab meetings and seminars, and more widely at international scientific conferences.

You will be expected to assist in drafting scientific manuscripts.

Interviews will be held on Thursday 16th November 2023.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until April 2026 in the first instance.
