Description

Do you want to be part of a talented Operational Risk & Governance team? Are you entrepreneurial and ambitious? We have an exciting opportunity for an Operational Risk & Governance Director supporting Macquarie Asset Management.

You will play a key rolein the business-aligned ORG team, advising Macquarie's Asset Management business on Operational Risk Framework best practice, reviewing transactions and driving uplift to regional Legal Entity Risk Governance activities.

You will be responsible for regionalOperational Risk oversight and guidance on Macquarie Asset Management-led change and will also be a catalyst for the translation of Group-led change into the fiduciary business context.

Furthermore, you will support the Lead Director in EMEA regional oversightof the Macquarie Asset Management risk and control framework, including the review of regional control assurance and undertaking targeted thematic reviews.

The role will also address incident and issue management, to include root causes, and thematic analysis.

You will have gained the majority of your experience in Operational Risk from the buyside, with a background ideally in Private Markets - Real Assets, Real Estate or Private Credit.

You will be comfortable working in a matrix environment, be ability to balancecompeting priorities, have experience in risk assurance and a demonstrable track record of fostering stakeholder trust and engagement.

The Risk Management Group (RMG) is an independent, centralised unit responsible for ensuring all risk across Macquarie are appropriately assessed and managed.

Its divisions include Behavioural Risk, Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit,Market Risk, Operational Risk, Regulatory Affairs and Aggregate Risk, and RMG Enterprise Support.
