What you'll be working on
- Ensure timely payroll preparation / followup of the HR administration/processing for around 400 employees throughout EMEA.
- Act as an interface between the Finance and HR departments. Provide timely information to the finance team for financial reporting and audits.
- Train and respond to questions from employees related to pay and benefits.
- Define and maintain uptodate HR and Payroll policies, procedures and records in compliance with local legal requirements
- Support EMEA implementation of a Global Payroll System
- Find ways to improve and align international HR Operations Processes
- Managing the local Time and Attendance System
- Assist with managing HR systems for EMEA including working with the global HRIS team to ensure consistent use
- Data maintenance and analytics
What you bring to the role
- Ideally between 5 years of experience in payroll in EMEA
- Have a good knowledge of Austrian and other EMEA countries labor laws
- Fluent in English required; conversational German is a plus
- Strong Excel skills at an intermediate level preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Have a high level of initiative
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Strong ownership and follow through
