Credit Vetting Officer - Velos

The role


As the team grows, we currently have a variety of great opportunities within our credit department, including
Credit Vetting Officer.


Do you have a passion for Risk Management or Underwriting? Our Credit Department supports the Radius group of companies globally.

We have credit management experts across thirteen countries, and we'd love to help you develop your career as a credit professional.


Currently recruiting in our state of the art head office in Crewe, we believe in developing our people and making sure no two days are ever the same.

Salary:
Up to £25,000 dependant on experience + quarterly targeted commission of 12% of annual salary


Location:
Radius Campus, Emperor Way, Crewe Business Park, CW1 6BD


Hours:
Monday - Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm

Full training for any role will be provided and we can offer full study support for either CICM or AAT.


Whilst experience in a credit or risk management role may be an advantage, the right attitude is the most important quality.

What would your day to day look like as a Credit Vetting Officer?

  • Engage with stakeholders in sales teams and be open to challenge to drive the right decision
  • Proactively suggest changes to policy, process or procedures where risks or opportunities are identified
  • Use exposure to different areas of Credit and businesses / products to share good ideas and approaches across the team and improve the processes and systems as a result
  • Review financial information and compile trend analysis, produce risk reviews for senior management
  • Take data from several different sources, evaluate and collate to make risk decisions within the product / country specific credit policy

What do we expect of you as a Credit Vetting Officer?
- **Communication **- the ability to develop rapport with customers and colleagues over the phone

Attention to Detail - a head for numbers and ability to spot and solve problems whilst dealing with a high volume of transactional data

Drive to Succeed - driven to achieve targets, tenacious and persistent in your approach

  • Experience in a risk management / assessment based role is desirable, not essential
