Description

Due to the existing postholder going on maternity leave, a fixed term opportunity has arisen for an experienced operational leader to work in partnership with the Deputy Medical Director and other stakeholders to determine the clinical strategy for Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.


The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring that the Trust meets all operational performance standards and will be jointly responsible for the management of trust wide services within the Ophthalmology and Clinical Support Services Division.

This responsibility includes leading the management of the Access Team and jointly leading the management of the Clinical Support Services and City Road Theatre Service.


The role will require the individual to act as SRO for the Clinical and Surgical Excellence Programmes, to deputise for the Chief Operating Officer and to represent the organisation at various external forums.


PROBATIONARY PERIOD


During the probationary period, your suitability for continued employment will be assessed and provided a satisfactory standard is achieved and maintained, your employment will be confirmed.

The probationary period may be extended or your employment terminated either during or at the end of probation, in line with the trust Probationary Policy.

For the duration of the probation period, the notice period will be in line with contractual obligations on either side.
