Description
Our client, one of London's leading universities, is currently looking to recruit a temporary Information Assistant to provide a high level of customer service and user support to staff and students in the university's very popular Library.
This post is being offered on a temporary basis, to start as soon as possible and to run for 3 months.
Due to the nature of the role post holder will be required to be on location 5 days per week, may have sole responsibility for the Library during lunchtime periods, and undertake occasional evening shifts.
The post-holder will be responsible for staffing the library service desk and assisting with Library administration, maintaining content, collections and reading lists.
Essentially, as you will be the face for the library, you will provide an excellent all-round customer experience for the service user, including registering new users and providing orientation tours for new library members.
In order to be considered for the post, you will have experience working in a library, with a sound knowledge of library procedures, including library management systems.
This post is looking for someone to start as soon as possible, so you will need to be available immediately in order to be considered.
