DIAM is a world leader in the POS, display, merchandising and brand retail services sectors.

We create, develop and install Retail & Merchandising solutions to enhance the consumer's experience in points of sale within the cosmetics industry.

We are seeking a Junior Estimator to join the team, with the intention to provide both valuable experience and career development opportunities.

Supporting the Commercial Director in the Retail and Prestige business unit.

You will play a key role within the team, working across a wide range of projects working with sales, design and suppliers to build a cost model for a project, using existing templates in order to prepare cost estimates.

On the job training will be provided.

Duties

Support the Commercial Director R&P.
Assisting in producing estimates using existing templates in order to prepare cost estimates.
Preparation of budgets for hand over to the sales team.
Gather and store data in a secure environment.
Liaise with procurement and suppliers directly.

To be successful in this role you will:

Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Demonstrate attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to changes.
Have the ability to read technical drawings and documentation, including 3D models.
Be a confident communicator both internally and externally.
Knowledge of POS industry, plastic fabrication, printing, metalwork and woodwork would be an advantage.
