King's Academy Binfield and King's Academy Oakwood are seeking an Administrator for Inclusion at their all through academy in Bracknell.

Salary is based on FTE of £20,258pa-£20,441pa plus £637 Outer London Fringe Allowance pro rata. (Actual starting salary is £16,165pa inc Outer London Fringe).


PURPOSE OF THE JOB

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide administrative support in meetings with the SENDCo as and when required.
  • To provide administrative support for Annual Reviews including attending meetings.
  • To provide administrative support for key transition points.
  • Maintain specific SEN pupil files, ensuring all information is up to date and readily accessible for the department.
  • Assist with the administration of and processing of testing and access arrangements for examinations.
  • Assist with the administration of and processing of screeners to identify SEN difficulties.
  • To provide general administrative support to the SEN Department, as and when required by the SENDCO.
  • Assist with administration of paperwork for alternative provision

Supporting the Academy
At an appropriate level, according to the job role, grade and training received, all employees at KAB and KAO are expected to:

  • Support the aims, values, mission and ethos of the academy and participate in a team approach to all aspects of academy life.
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings and INSET days as required, and identify areas of personal practice and experience to develop.
  • Take appropriate responsibility for safeguarding and children's welfare and be aware of confidential issues linked to home/student/teacher/academy and keep confidences appropriately.
  • Be aware of health and safety issues and act in accordance with the academy's Health and Safety
Policy.


OTHER DUTIES:


The postholder may be expected to carry out duties other than those given in the job description where the level of responsibility is similar and he/she has appropriate qualifications or receives appropriate training to carry out these duties.
