Description

Semi Skilled Rigger / Erector, Skilled Labourer and/or Semi-Skilled Fitter required with Scissor Lift / Cherry Picker / MEWP / PAL / IPAF licence to drive category 3a and 3b vehicles on clients site.

You should be willing and able to carry out skilled labouring / semi-skilled mechanical fitting using hand tools to assemble components on the ground and at heights.

(This is not just a plant driving role)

Duration
Ongoing temporary / contract work throughout the year which will probably lead to permanent employment at a later date. Perm positions also available at Lead-Hand level.

Often working away from home within a team Mon-Fri starting out from the client's central base near Uttoxeter each Monday morning and returning on Friday afternoon.

Hotel Accommodation and breakfast is provided and paid for by employer.

Role

Reporting to the Site Manager / Installation Team Leader and working as part of the site team, you will be responsible for assisting with the erecting of structural steel work / steel framework including: drilling, fixing and working at heights.

Applicant
Qualifications must include CSCS card and IPAF 3a & 3b

You should be experienced in assembly of steel framework, rigging, erecting, steel fixing and competent at reading general arrangement drawings.

Rates
Rate = £17.00 per hr based on an 8 hour day depending on experience and qualifications.
