Brakes now have a fantastic opportunity for a **HR Partnerto deliver proactive and flexible generalist HR support to the Site Leadership of our
Tamworth depot
**, to improve business performance and deliver people plans. You'll act as the internal point of contact to line managers in complex HR matters and support the Regional HR Business Partner and Senior Managers across all HR activitiesincluding resource management, organisational development & design as well as employee engagement. This is a fantastic role for a current HR Advisor looking to take the next step and gain exposure in a global business.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for ensuring our people are effectively managed through coaching line managers whilst monitoring trends and ensuring measures are taken to address them. You will implement people initiatives to drive business performance and enhance people capability,ensuring our leaders can achieve their business objectives.
- Partner and coach, the leaders on all aspects of leading their people and the people plan. Provide robust and challenging debate on people matters to ensure great commercial decisions are driven with people as a key differentiator.
- To ensure all managers have the relevant level of training, coaching and support to manage their people.
- Using Employee Relations data to highlight trends and providing solutions.
- Supporting line managers in complex ER cases, ensuring they are conducted with a consistent approach.
- Actively managing colleague retention and absence analysing the data to ensure we are reducing attrition.
- Support with change initiatives relating to employee relations ensuring that they are implemented in accordance with best practise.
- Ensure there is a consistent onboarding experience for colleagues and new line managers.
- Ensuring line managers are driving engagement on site through
- ECF's, listening groups and Sysco Speaks action plans.
- Support with delivering the people plan and HR calendar activities.
- Manage HR & Payroll administrator, ensuring alignment with HR Shared Service processes and GDPR compliance.
With previous experience in a HR Partner or Senior HR Advisor role, you'll ideally be CIPD qualified (or willing to work towards this) and have a sound up to date knowledge of UK employment legislation.
Displaying gravitas and credibility you'll have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders and influence accordingly.
