Description

One of our lovely schools in Bristol is looking for a learning support assistant to provide 1-2-1 support to a student with ASD (Autism) in a mainstream primary school from January.

Your main role will be supporting the child in the classroom, building a rapport to help them feel confident and motivated.

This will include maintaining their routine, handling sensory overload, and engaging in various learning techniques to adapt to theirneeds.

To be successful in the role you will need to have:

Experience supporting a student with SEND (preferable)
A positive, resilient mentality this role can be incredibly rewarding, but equally will require time, dedication, and patience
Clear communication skills and be confident working with children
