Sabio Recruitment are currently working with a Maldon based company who require an experienced Electronics Inspector to join their growing team.

In this Electronics Inspector role you will be responsible for ensuring products conform to customer specification and are built to the standards dictated in IPC-A-610 including:

  • Ensuring quality processes have been followed throughout the build
  • Programming Automated Optical Inspection Machines
  • First off inspection using AOI
  • Final Inspection using AOI
  • Visual Inspection of Final Assemblies
  • Visual Inspection of Reworked Products
  • Goods Inwards Inspection
  • Bare board inspection
  • Keep records of faults found for statistical analysis
  • Communication with manufacturing, engineering, and test on quality issues
  • Assist in quality control investigations

For this Electronics Inspector role but you will:

  • Have 5+ years' experience in the electronics industry, specifically in the inspection of assemblies
  • Be certified to IPC-A610 and have thorough knowledge of a wide range of electronic components
  • Be competent (or keen to learn) the programming of automated optical inspection (AOI) machines
  • Have ability to determine acceptability criteria
  • Have excellent attention to detail
