  • SALARY: Starting at £23,370 Pro rata
  • LOCATION(S): Basildon
  • HOURS: 21
  • WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
About this Opportunity


This role is part of Onboarding and Customer support team and will give you the opportunity to work in a fun dynamic team who are at the forefront of leading the way for customers & colleagues.

Working in a strong collaborative way to drive efforts to support our customers in their join journey with Lloyds Bank Cardnet.


  • As a Client Support Assistant, you will be key to Lloyds bank Cardnet for new customers plus internal and external partners
  • You will triage our customers on the telephone before introducing them to the right part of our business to allow us to get them the best customer outcome
  • We liaise with many departments across our business and are integral to the success of Lloyds Cardnet
  • We process internal and external admin tasks for our sales colleagues and customers alike

What you'll need

  • Excellent, clear telephone manner
  • MS office and word processing skills
  • Professional and polite
  • Have a cando attitude, and be willing to be flexible to support the team in meeting priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to self motivate
And any experience of these would be really useful

  • Excel and data manipulation experience
  • Previous telephony/customer service experience
  • Great teammate / collaborator
  • Basic mathematic understanding
  • Previous experience within Financial Services is advantageous, but isn't crucial.
  • Understanding of Cardnet
