Reports to:


Technical Manager

Role Purpose:

To support and co-ordinate all activities related to manufacture of a safe legal product which meets customer requirements. Support new product launches after handover from NPD; create specifications, product files, QAS and labels. Ensure that all products are legally compliant for labelling.


Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain library of current specifications for both retail customers and for Halls branded products. Ensure that new products comply with legal requirements in addition to retailer policies / requirements prior to launch.
  • Creation and maintenance of recipe / batch sheets for products, following handover from NPD.
  • Create & maintain Product Files and QAS for new and existing SKUs.
  • Maintain Internal box labels and film prints using Easy Label & Markem CoLos Create systems.
  • Contribute to the further development of the Quality Management System and ensure that current documentation and systems are in place.
  • Complete Internal audits as per schedule against BRC Standard.
  • Log, trend and respond to customer complaints in conjunction with technical administrator.

  • Ideally Intermediate Food Hygiene & Intermediate HACCP Trained:
