An opportunity has arisen for a full time and a part time Roster Support Officer to work in Withybush General Hospital.

The post will provide front-line support to clinical managers to ensure the effective operational management of nursing and/or medical rosters using a range of digital rostering systems.


To work with Senior Sisters/Charge Nurses to ensure completion and sign off of nurse rosters, in line with Health Board policies.

Responsible for the planning and coordination of requests for temporary staff cover across the acute hospital site. Make continuous adjustments to support operational demands and changes in the daily staffing profile.


Work with the Nurse Bank Office, Wards/Department, Rostering Team and Service Managers to maximise potential for block booking temporary staff.

Develop a system for notification and communication of shift cancellations.

Support in deployment of staff on rosters to ensure an accurate reflection on area worked, verification of shifts.

Ensure rosters are completed, signed off, updated and verified.
