The Department

The site team is a small and dedicated department providing essential support to the smooth running of the Academy.

The Role

To assist the Site Manager to provide a clean, safe, and secure environment for users of the Academy buildings and grounds, including:

• caretaking duties across the whole site
• indoor and outdoor work as required

- carrying out basic repairs, maintenance, and decorating


You will need:
- working knowledge of health and safety, security, and hygiene requirements for a site
- experience of working in a caretaking / site support role
- experience of carrying out basic repairs and decorating either at home or in a work environment essential
- ability to meet the physical requirements of the role (moving, lifting, carrying, etc.).
- ability to use initiative and work unsupervised
- prepared to work shift patterns, additional and / or unsociable hours as required to complete tasks

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
