The Role

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract Position.


The focus will be on residential property management of a high-profile market let residential portfolio working closely with The Crown Estate asset management team.


The role is to manage the delivery of residential property management and residential tenancy management services, maximising gross income, minimising net leakage and ensuring high quality service delivery, customer and client satisfaction, continuity of performance, full compliance and business generation.

This involves the management of a team of 5 people.

Primary Objectives

Management of a team of property managers, administrators and oversee the management of site staff.
Ensure delivery of Property Management Services for residential PRS,

Using both JLL and client systems to oversee compliance, tenancy set up, renewals, rent collection, customer management, property refurbishment, delivery of customer service, management of all complaints (as they are escalated), and daily client liaison.

Setting up and managing systems and procedures to ensure service delivery and compliance management.
Maintaining knowledge and advising on changes to legislation/case law.
Letting and tenancy progression of circa 350 market let properties. This involves overseeing tenancy set up, renewals, rent collection, customer management, property refurbishment, delivery of customer service.

Management of any sales with appointed agents of vacant property, as well as management and rent officer management of the small statutory tenancy portfolio as required.

Working closely with other divisions within JLL regarding new business generation and strategy for growth of the residential property management service provision.

Any other duties appropriate to this role, as required from time to time.

Other Responsibilities

Recruitment and management of staff, when required.
Annual cost budgeting (revenue and capital).
Overseeing team budgets, management income and expenditure.
Assisting with annual valuation, annual capital budget and reporting on all capital expenditure and income.
Contributing to (when required) asset initiative reports - these cover a wide range of opportunities such as buying in short leases, statutory tenancies, change of use, sales and disposals, lease re-gears (outside of LRA), rent reviews and lease renewals (commercial and residential)
Attendance at resident's meetings, where required.
Cross-sell the skills and services of the other JLL divisions to existing and potential clients.
Attending Directors meetings and contribution to the wider JLL management teams.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Senior Residential Property Management Experience.
Team leader/manager of property team.
Excellent communicator and client relationship skills.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Strong commercial awareness.
Excellent attention to detail skills.
Good financial skills.
