Description

Insight Construction are searching for a Skilled Electrical Supervisor to become part of our expanding team.

To oversee the electrical department, electricians, and apprentices under your supervision to ensure all electrical department requirements are met in accordance with company policies and NICEIC regulations.

Key Duties / Tasks / Responsibilities

Offer expert knowledge, support, and guidance to colleagues and clients.
Provide guidance on electrical installations during daily tasks.
Build strong relationships with teams, clients, and consultants on a regular basis.
Manage NICEIC registration and assessments.
Fulfill duties as a NICEIC qualified supervisor and manage certification.
Conduct site visits to monitor works and ensure compliance with regulations.
Manage various contracts to maximize profits, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
Allocate labor and resources efficiently to optimize productivity and performance.
Collaborate with other departments for planned works and resource management.
Hands-on approach to support field operatives when needed.
Mentor and oversee apprentices.
Demonstrate flexibility to meet business needs.

Commercial Responsibilities

Familiarity with National Housing Federation Schedule of Rates is advantageous.
Enhance output and commercial performance without compromising quality or safety.
Respond to client requests for additional works and information.

Health & Safety Focus

Always prioritize safety during works on site.
Foster a positive health and safety culture.
Maintain zero tolerance for health and safety violations.
Prepare RAMS, risk assessments, and method statements.
Participate in team briefings and deliver Tool Box Talks.

Key Qualifications

Minimum two years experience as an NICIEC qualified supervisor.
Background in domestic electrical installations and testing.
Relevant qualifications: C&G 18th Edition IET Regulations BS767, C&G (2394 & 2395) or 2391 Testing and Inspection, C&G 2360 Pt. 1 & Pt. 2, NVQ Level 3, CSCS card, SSSTS, IT Literate.

Compensation:
£34,357.89-£48,672.22 annually
