We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team here at Frontiers.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager the role is responsible for preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures and assessing adherence to quality standards and conformity to Frontiers' (peer review) procedures with the aim to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty by performing routine inspections and quality tests of the operational teams in Publishing Operations.
This is a new role within Frontiers so we are looking for someone that can bring their previous experience and support the Quality Assurance Manager in setting up the function.
Key Responsibilities- Addressing and discussing quality issues and proposing solutions with Quality Assurance Manager
- Documenting quality assurance activities and creating audit reports
- Creating training materials and operating manuals in collaboration with the Customer Service Coach
- Performing routine inspections and working with various teams to correct issues that arise in the operational processes
- Creating, implementing, and updating our process checklists, process standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinating investigation of quality issues arising from customers with our team members
- Identify coaching and training needs through quality assessments.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
- Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, CQE, or CQA
- Proven work experience as a quality assurance specialist or similar role
- Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a quality assurance specialist
- Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management
