HGV Driver / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver
The Best Connection Scotland are currently recruiting for our National Client who is in the market for a 7.5T/Class 2 drivers to load and complete home deliveries from our various sites throughout Scotland (Glasgow, Edinburgh & Aberdeen)
You will be part of a 2 man team and will have an experienced 2nd man with you.
This role is Ongoing or if your just looking for an odd weekend shift, Depots are based all over Scotland and it's a 5 over 7 day role with working hours 7am/11am starts to finish (Pd 8hrs min)
Basic duties will include:
- Loading materials onto vehicle
- Delivering and unloading to various sites including home delivery/Room of choice
- General upkeep of vehicle.
- Must complete clients paperworl to a good standard
Requirements:
- 7.5T / Class 2 HGV Driving Licence with some experience
- Max 6 points with no major endorsements
- Valid Drivers CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Documented work history
- References
- Excellent Customer service skills
- Must have a good level of English
RATES OF PAY:
-
7.5T Rates
- Mon to Fri
£13.50 per hour +
£20.25 O/T after 8hrs - Saturday
£20.25 per hour - Sunday & B/Hol
£27.00 per hour
Class 2 rates
- Mon-Fri
£14.75 std £22.12 after 8hrs - Saturday
£22.12: - Sunday
£29.50
The successful applicants will benefit from the below:
