Description
Overview:
- Manage and coordinate the procurement process for the manufacturing company, including sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management.
- Work closely with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and agreements in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and track purchase orders, shipments, and deliveries to ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods.
- Maintain vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality, costeffectiveness, and reliability.
- Assist in inventory control, stock replenishment, and forecasting to meet production demands.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as production, logistics, and finance to optimize procurement processes.
- Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to purchasing, orders, and vendor transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, expenses, and supplier information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards in procurement activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and vendor management.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
