I am currently recruiting for a growing client within the education sector, looking for a Head of Finance to support the CFO.

This is a brand new role due to growth within the business. It is a great opportunity offering some fantastic benefits, including a 20% pension contribution from the employer.

Tasks include:

Preparation of monthly accruals for posting into the accounting system.
Input data using the inhouse accounting system database.
Interpretation of key control account reconciliations and authorisation on a monthly basis
Analysis of key nominal accounts in support of figures contained within the Management Accounts
Production of monthly Management Accounts pack, including KPI reporting and periodic reforecasting as

required.

Production of monthly accounts commentary to ensure academy performance is understood, including

variances against budget for categories of income and expenditure.

Liaison with other members of staff in relation to general financial issues.
Extensive support in budgetary processes and activities to enable clear annual budgets to be produced at academy

level.

Financial analysis and project work as may be required from time to time in support of strategic decision making at

Academy and Trust level.

Provision of information to support the CFO in submitting various statutory returns during the year.
Annual audit: coordination of yearend audit and play a pivotal role in fieldwork to ensure successful delivery of

unadjusted financial statements
