Working as part of a fast paced team in a long established company, you will need an eye for detail whilst working to deadlines.

Your main role will be to undertake a delivery route making deliveries to a wide variety of customer locations across the North East of England.

We are looking for a team member who will be also be involved in processing goods from receipt through to delivery.

Your day will involve receiving supplier deliveries, checking them and processing them, preparing and packing up customer deliveries, loading a van, planning a route, and then completing the route using a PDA which takes electronic signatures.

As the face of the company when making deliveries, you will be friendly and will understand the importance of customer service.

This role involves multiple and varied drops throughout the day across the North East of England. A full and clean UK driving licence is required.

This role involves a lot of manual handling and so the ability to understand and utilise safe practices in handling of goods is important.

An ability to work with computer stock management systems is needed; full training will be given. The role involves using route planning software as well as using a back office system to book stock in and out of the warehouse. This is an essential part of the role.

This role is Monday

Friday with no weekend work and no bank holidays required. There is some flexibility required in the hours worked but as a general rule the hours are 7am to 4pm.
