Purpose of Post:

To provide comprehensive and financial, compliance and administrative support to the Chief Executive, the wider staff team and the Party at large.


Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:


GENERAL:


  • To provide day to day management and administration for the Party ELECTIONS
  • During election periods, to assist the Party in any way reasonably requested. To manage the day to running of 4CT with the increased growth in staff, resource needs and services.

2.1 To manage the Party's internal elections, including distributing the timeline, updating websites, creating and distributing ballots and carrying out any other tasks relative thereto.


FINANCES:


5.1 Compliance - ensure that the Scottish Liberal Democrats are compliant in their political activities, specifically but not limited to ensuring adherence to the PEPPRA, Financial declaration regulations.

5.2 With the support of the Party's accountants, to administer the Party's financial BUILDING MANAGEMENT
6.1 Manage the Scottish Liberal Democrat property.
6.2 Liaise with the landlord on development work, repairs and long-term planning re the maintenance of a fully functional office/ HQ

6.3 Oversee the Health and Safety plan for the property and staff using the premises in conjunction with the Liberal Club.
