JOB SUMMARY
Making sure our guests are having a great time in our lounge by delivering excellent customer service. Ensuring that 5-star hotel expectations are met. Making sure that buffets and kitchen back office are always replenished, stocked, and cleaned.


SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:


  • Previous experience working within a similar environment preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
  • Innovative
  • Proactive and reliable
  • Able to work alone and within a team.

Education or Certification

  • Good level of English essential

SPECIFIC DUTIES
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:

  • For morning shift: Set up the buffet for Breakfast and ensure that it is replenished during service time. Bring the food from back-office kitchen inside the lounge.
  • For afternoon and evening shift: Set up the buffet for Afternoon teatime and/or evening canapés and ensure that the buffet is replenished during service time. Bring the food from backoffice kitchen inside the lounge.
  • Ensure that the Executive Lounge is tidy and cleaned, as well with the backoffice kitchen. These 2 rooms must be prepared, stocked and ready for service at all times.
  • Greet guests using the guest's name with politeness and good manners.
  • Hosting breakfast time when needed: Welcome the guest, keep track of their room number and make sure they're having a great experience.
  • Complete the Food and Beverage Requisition for the Executive Lounge and to collect the Requisition. To maintain the PAR Levels (determines the minimum level of inventory necessary to be on hand for a specific period).
  • Always maintain high level of cleanliness, including Coffee Machines, beer pipes and fridges.
  • To do the miseenplace for the next day. Get the food and drinks from the kitchen (manual handling) and bring it to the backOffice kitchen of the lounge.
  • To comply and acknowledge the

Manual Handling Module

  • To comply with daily checklists from managers and food handling procedures.
  • To vacuum and mop if needed.
  • Cleaning up tables from dirty crockeries.
  • To have the knowledge to explain all buffet items to Guests.
  • Responsible for the safe keeping of the lounge keys.
  • To ensure that all food and beverage products are correctly stored, dated, labelled and rotated where necessary.
  • To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and meet hotel grooming and uniform standards. Trainers and jeans are not allowed on shift.
