Are you passionate about excellent customer service and want to work with a talented team who share your passion? Birmingham Electrical Training is recruiting a Training Administrator to join our operations team.


The Company


Birmingham Electrical Training is a family business, established in 1991, over the past 33 years Birmingham Electrical Training has grown to become one of the largest Electrical Training Providers in the UK.

At our dedicated training centre, based in Hockley, Birmingham we currently train over 600 electrical apprentices. Under our apprentice programme we partner with 250 electrical contractors who provide employment and on the job training. The off the job training programmes delivered by our dedicated team of Tutors and Training Officers. We also offer upskilling and bespoke electrical training for electricians and electrical contractors.


The Role

Key tasks include:

  • Booking Test & Inspection Exams and Resits
  • Invigilating Exams & Setting Up Rooms
  • Preparing Paperwork for Apprentice Enrolment
  • Filing and Processing of Onboarding Documentation
  • Administrating ECS Cards for Apprentices
  • Sending Apprentice Reports to Employers
  • Claiming Certificates and Uploading to

The Person
We are looking for an enthusiastic Training Administrator who is passionate about providing excellent customer service. You will be organised and systematic in your approach to your work. With an excellent attention to detail and a determination to ensure that all tasks are completed thoroughly.


Key skills and attributes:

  • Passion for training, development, advice and guidance and a desire to continuously learn.
  • Teamplayer with excellent communication skills, happy to work in a busy and highly reactive office environment
  • Selfmotivated and proactive with the ability to manage your own time and prioritise your workload
  • Experience of working within an Apprenticeship Provider or Training would be advantageous.


  • Excellent IT Skills

  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook along with using CRM and Data Systems

The Package:

- £25,000 - £26,000 annual salary (depending on skills and experience)

  • 25 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays
  • 6month Probation Period
  • Auto Enrolment pension and life assurance scheme
Location: 34 Brearley Street, Hockley, Birmingham, B19 3NR

Job Hours:
Mon-Fri, Friday with 30 Mins Lunch
