Head of Finance/ Finance Manager - Chesterfield - £65,000 - £70,000 plus excellent benefits package
Are you seeking a role where you're ability to engage with others is as important as your technical skills?

Do you want to be the head of your own finance team and have a strategic input into the running of a successful SME division established, global business?


If you can effectively communicate with both internal and external contacts at all levels, if you have superb 'soft skills', you are open minded, entrepreneurial, resourceful and collaborative, then this is a perfect match


In line with the above, your ability to manage, motivate and develop a team is going to be essential to your Department's success.


With clear leadership, this company have an ethos of creating effective partnerships and you will work as a strong strategic partner internally with all areas of the business.


This opportunity is responsible for the accurate financial reporting of the Company and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems.


It sits within the senior management team and is expected to contribute to the strategic and operational management and direction of the company, ultimately allowing it to make effective business decisions through relevant and timely business & financialanalysis.

You will be highly analytical and data-driven with strong commercial instincts and experience.

As with any role at this level, you will be pragmatic, adaptable and comfortable with a constantly changing environment.


If you are collaborative in your approach and have a history of offering insights and tools that drive commercially oriented independent decision making across previous businesses, this could be the ideal match.


Your success will ultimately be defined by the performance of the finance function and building effective relationships with the rest of the Senior Leadership Team, instinctively understanding the SLT's perspective, and you will need to pro actively providethe information and insight necessary for decision making.


Whilst collegiate in approach, you will need to understand the necessity of independence of thought and have both the strength of character, the moral compass and the nuanced personal skills necessary to challenge (upwards and downwards) when appropriate.
