Transport Administrator L- Immingham

Salary up to £26,500 K pa depending on experience, plus excellent benefits

Calor Gas are looking to recruit an engaging and proactive Transport Administrator to carry out the day to day safe and effective fulfilment operation, including all Primary gas, primary cylinder, secondary cylinder, and bulk distribution movements ensuring optimal effectiveness for driver and vehicle utilisation.

You will actively engage in the site safety requirements and support transport planning with customer master data management.


Key responsibilities will include:


  • Supporting site management in achieving compliance obligations including Inventory, financial, health and safety and Transport
  • Liaising with Workshops and Customer Service teams to ensure the effective routing of all vehicles at your disposal
  • Dealing effectively with customer complaints relating to transport activities
  • Ensuring all loads are reconciled in a timely manner
  • Ensuring driver feedback is reported and Master data is updated
  • Create a mindset within the team that "service matters"
  • Create a positive safety culture within the team and increase safety accountability

As such we would like you to:

  • Have experience working within the transport industry
  • Have knowledge of Driving hours rules and regulations
  • Demonstrate a professional attitude when dealing with internal and external customers
  • Have a handson attitude and the willingness to lead by example and develop and encourage team spirit
  • Be computer literate with experience using MS Office
  • Be well organised
  • Be a clear communicator with good written communication
  • Have a strong safety focus
