    Join our organization as a key member of the Quality and Food Safety Department, overseeing quality control processes across multiple manufacturing sites.

    Main Responsibilities

    1. Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to BRCGS and other relevant certifications.
    2. Internal Audits and External Compliance: Conduct internal audits and manage external audits from regulatory bodies and clients.
    3. Quality Failure Reduction: Investigate and resolve quality failures, complaints, and ensure continuous improvement.
    4. Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage the quality control processes across multiple manufacturing sites.
    5. Continuous Improvement: Maintain high levels of service, compliance with legislation, and specifications.
    6. Food Safety Testing: Implement and monitor food safety testing programs to ensure products meet strict safety standards.
    7. Supply Chain Traceability: Develop and maintain effective traceability systems across the supply chain.
    8. QC and Food Safety Procedures: Oversee quality control and food safety procedures for continuous improvement.
    9. Training and Support: Provide training and support to site QC teams and food safety practices.
    10. Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any quality issues.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    1. Experience: Required experience working within Food manufacturing or Laboratory settings, along with managing a team.
    2. Quality Management: Proven experience in quality management within the food manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
    3. BRCGS Standards: Knowledge of BRCGS standards and auditing processes.
    4. Expertise: Expertise in food testing, quality control, and traceability systems.
    5. Skill Set: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    6. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement.

    This role requires liaising with various departments across the site and suits a self-motivated and engaging personality with the ability to communicate at all levels.
