Description

The Finance Team provides support across the wide range of Council and associated company activities, which provides an exciting backdrop for the new team members.

In addition, the Finance Team is seeking to evolve so that it can provide support in the complex world of a modern local authority.

The work programme includes a new finance system (implemented in April 21), improving the management accounting and reporting processes and helping to establish the team ready for the future.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic individual to join the Finance Team. The role is key to the effective delivery of sound financial reporting.

The Finance Team provide a service to the Council which encompasses financial accounting, management accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, insurance, commercial and treasury management services.


The post will be based at Bodicote House in Bodicote, Banbury although you may be expected to travel to other locations as required.

Agile working is supported; however, part of this role requires you to be regularly office based to carry out certain tasks.
